Ryan McAllister & Northern Hymns along with good friends Coalmont are bringing their blend of Folk Canadiana storytelling to a town near you. The Traveler's Tales Tent Trailer Tour (nice alliteration eh!!) features wonderfully crafted stories and songs with some old favourites...and two bands traveling Western Canada in their tent trailers. Both artists have deep gospel roots but have had successful careers inside and outside of the church. Expect an evening of powerful songs and laughter that connects with people of all ages.

Ryan McAllister...You may have seen Ryan recently playing along side Michael W. Smith, Jeremy Camp, Brian Doerksen, and Tim & The Glory Boys. In his mainstream career he's also played thousands of concerts on five continents with artists ranging from Sam Roberts to Willy Nelson. He's headed up the bands Dakona and North Country Gentlemen and his music has appeared on Billboard, MTV, Much Music, top 40 radio, film and TV and has been nominated for Covenant and Dove awards. He also co-wrote and produced Tim & The Glory Boys Hootenanny album which recently won a Juno Award.

Northern Hymns...Northern Hymns is a collaboration of cousins Ryan McAllister & Barnaby McRae alongside good friend Jeremy Friesen. It is an offshoot of their band North Country Gentlemen whose folk rock sound earned great reviews inside and outside of the church. "You’re not going to find a better soundtrack for day-to-day living than North Country Gentlemen." –The Georgia Straight. Their live performance blends humour, stories and beautiful renditions of their favourite hymns anchored in rich melodies and three part harmonies.

Coalmont...Based out of beautiful British Columbia, Coalmont is a husband and wife duo who love telling stories through song. The two met in 2005, were married in 2011, and shortly after Coalmont was formed. In 2012, they released their debut album “Chronicles”. The album received much praise, including that from Juno Award winner Brian Doerksen who called it “the perfect combination of grit and smooth”. The duo have continued to write and perform over the next few years, earning themselves a Covenant Award for Best Country Song of the Year for their single “Under Stars”. They recently released their second album entitled “The Hallowed Grey Vol.1” which has received rave reviews.
